Yazan is from the city of Arraba in northern Palestine. He completed his studies in Computer Science, but chose a non-traditional path—opting for an unpaid internship at a tech startup in Cape Town instead of a lucrative job in software engineering.

This decision was driven by his desire to escape routine, explore the world, improve his language skills, build meaningful connections, and gain diverse work experiences. At the time, he had no idea that this choice would spark the creation of HomeAwe.

As he continues this inspiring journey, Yazan aspires to dive deeper into diverse cultures by volunteering in remote areas around the world. His ongoing quest for personal growth and his drive to challenge norms and break barriers fuel his passion and embody the vision of HomeAwe.
