🚗 When you need to go to or from Sora, it’s usually informal and flexible:
Coordinate with another volunteer with a car
Ask a local for a lift
Or organize a group ride with other volunteers
🌿 Transportation isn’t always instant, but the people are kind and flexible — everything works out with a light spirit.
Sora is a charming town between mountains and rivers, combining peaceful countryside with historic beauty – like a quiet painting.
🧗♀️ Sora Castle Hike:
An easy and fun mountain trail, great for your rest day.
The trail winds through stunning nature, and the view from the top is unforgettable.
🛍️ Thursday Market:
A mini festival!
Locals sell vegetables, fruits, bread, clothes, cheese, and more.
A great chance to meet townspeople, taste fresh food, and feel the local vibe.
☕ Sora has small cafés, gelato shops 🍦, and mini-markets if you need anything personal.
It’s a calm place where even a short walk becomes a mindful and beautiful journey.
Don’t expect everything to be perfect or as imagined
Commitment to schedule and volunteering hours is crucial
Any delay or lack of respect is inappropriate
You’ll share space with people from different cultures
Small challenges may occur – the essence is learning, acceptance, and openness
Being in this kind of space is an inner journey before it is an outer one
Everything is simple, but if you embrace it wholeheartedly – it gives back so much ✨
